With this post we salute our New York based senior interior designer Jackie Colliton. Jackie is retiring this week after more than a decade of service to McALPINE.
Born in Holland and raised in Ohio, Jackie has called New York City home throughout her adult life. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in interior design and continued her studies at the Parsons School of Design. Jackie worked for several prestigious design firms including Naomi Leff, Mark Hampton, and John Saladino, where she met Ray Booth. After years of running her own firm, Jackie joined us in 2010 to help Ray open a New York office. The rest is history!
“I am actually very impressed with all the people I work with, what they can do, the abilities they have, it’s always been such a pleasant environment because I am surrounded by people who love to do what I do. I am very fortunate. How many careers can there be where you just love your job every day?” Well said Jackie!
Dear one, your talent, striking honesty, world perspective, sharp wit, and presence will be missed in our daily lives. We wish you, husband Paul and son Billy, all the very best in your new chapters ahead.
Enjoy some of Jackie’s work over the years:
